THANK YOU!

This beautiful Bijoux heirloom dress features an embroidered yoke with ecru French laces.  The yoke of this dress has been modified to incorporate three hand embroidered squares set between lace insertions.  The hand embroidery is completed in muted pastel colors and consists of bullion roses and leaves.  The neck edge has a gathered lace ruffle.

The Bijoux style does not have sleeves, but, instead has deep sleeve ruffles.  This particular dress uses a combination of laces to make the sleeve ruffle to the desired depth and is gathered throughout the sleeve opening.

The skirt of this dress has two tucked bands which consist of serpentine tucks and pin tucks.  On either side of the tucked bands are single insertion lace bands.  The skirt is completed with the addition of a deep all lace gathered ruffle.  This dress is constructed in Swiss batiste.

This dress has a Swiss batiste built-in slip or liner which is finished with a lace edge applied flat to the bottom of the liner.

Mother of pearl buttons may be added to the back closure or left without buttons for the use of beauty bar pins.

This item will be made to your child's measurements to ensure a perfect fit.

As with all my dresses and gowns, the skirt and liner are hand rolled and whipped and constructed together by hand.  Every attention is given to following traditional French hand sewn techniques and to ensuring the highest quality item to be passed down and preserved for generations.
